Great News regarding Project Riedstadt

In March of this year, our installation partner Nawasol GmbH, responsible for the construction of the carport solar system in Riedstadt, conducted test pile driving on the site designated for construction at ARS Altmann AG. One of our Mazaka pile drivers was used for this purpose.

This process examines the soil conditions and the load-bearing capacity of the planned profiles. It essentially serves to confirm the assumptions from the static calculations regarding the foundation and dimensioning of the entire carport structure.

In addition to numerous other investigations conducted, this method is the best to ensure a smooth assembly process subsequently.

In this manner, countless posts will be driven into the ground during the construction phase, which are necessary for the mounting of the 28,000 modules to be installed. The extraordinary depth of up to 4 meters ensures the stability of the system even in strong winds and heavy rainfall, thus keeping both the system and the cars parked underneath safe.

The construction of the facility is scheduled to begin in July 2024. In line with the principles of The Dillinger Group, the facility will generate green electricity without additional land sealing, thus contributing to a climate-friendly future.
