Construction Begins in Schloen
07. Juni 2024After completing all approval procedures and finishing the new access road, our assembly partner was able to officially begin construction of the largest project in the history of The Dillinger Group at the end of May. Nawasol Bluetable GmbH, a highly experienced and close partner of The Dillinger Group, is responsible for the construction of the solar farm in Schloen.
The first step involves fencing the approximately 55-hectare construction site. Over 5 kilometers of chain-link fence and 8 access gates with a minimum embedding depth between 1.0 and 1.5 meters will be erected. The 2-meter-high fence primarily ensures the security of the building materials and the future facility. Additionally, the entire site will be monitored 24/7 with mobile Watchbox systems. These surveillance systems are also equipped with photovoltaic modules, allowing them to be used without a fixed power grid connection during the construction phase.
After completing the fence, the installation of the substructure and the actual construction of the over 60 MWp photovoltaic system will begin. This facility in Schloen, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, will produce enough electricity to supply over 10,000 households in Germany and underscores The Dillinger Group's commitment to renewable energy projects.
